ZOC Update (OS/2 and NT)

In Affiliation with Beyond.com

ZOC just updated to version 3.12 for OS/2 Warp and Windows 95/98/NT. ZOC is an award winning telnet, secure shell (SSH), rlogin, modem and ISDN comm. application which offers a feature richness that is rarely found even in commercial packages. ZOC is shareware. To download a trial copy (zoc312.exe, 917,81KB for Warp and zow312.exe, 975KB for Windows) jump Emtec web site. I @Macarlo, registered user, recommend it.

With ZOC you can make quick connects without doing a lot of configuration (just select the main options from the connect window) or compose a dial directory with hosts that use different (or same) communication methods, emulations, arbitrary key mappings etc. ZOC offers solid implementations of the commonly used emulations (VT52, VT100, VT102, VT220, ANSI, IBM3270) and file transfer protocols (Xmodem, Ymodem, ZModem, Kermit, CompuServe-B), lets you configure close to everything (the main options tab sheet contains 18 tightly packed pages) and offers a wealth of functions (the pulldown menu contains more than 50 entries) including full scripting, chat mode, quoting of messages, etc. You can use it to connect to your BBS, maintain Unix hosts over secure connections (and even do file transfers over SSH) or connect to whatever other computer is ready to accept incoming connections from a terminal emulator.
