XFolder menu


German developer Ulrich Möller just released XFolder V.080 and the archive (xfld080b.zip, 927.712K ) can be downloaded from his Site. This file and other, xfld080s.zip, 1,1Mb (This is what you want if you wish to translate XFolder into other languages or even modify the code itself. The sources are for IBM VisualAge C++ 3.0, which you don't need for translating though.) was uploaded on Hobbes by Brady Jarvis.

XFolder has once again been updated to V0.80. XFolder has grown to be an all-around WPS package by now: configure WPS menus, extended sorting, extended shutdown, new system sounds, folder status bars, folder content in context menus, and much more.
For me, @Macarlo, XFolder is one of the most important enhancements available for OS/2 Warp. I use it everyday in my works on the Net. With his pop-menu I controll perfectly all applets I need in my Warp 4.0 and also in my Warp 3.0. The "Restart WPS" feature of XFolder is the more perfect I know. If any person ask me "Which is the OS/2 program you can't works without it?", I say:

- XFolder is it!


Introduction


XFolder improves your Workplace Shell by registering replacement
classes.

Features:

-- XFolder can add entries to all of your WPS folders' context menus,
whose contents you can define yourself by putting regular WPS
objects in a special XFolder configuration folder. Anything placed
in this folder will immediately appear in the context menus of all
folders.

-- Extended Sort functions for the WPS.

-- Display of folder content in folder context menus.

-- Individual removal of OS/2 default menu items.

-- All folders can now carry their full path in their window
titles (e.g. "C:\OS2\APPS" instead of just "APPS").

-- Freely configurable hotkeys for use within folders
(e.g. F5 for "Refresh now").

-- "Snap to grid" feature for all folders.

-- Auto-scroll folder Tree views to make appearing items visible.

-- Extended Shutdown / Restart WPS only.

-- New "System" objects with CONFIG.SYS settings and the WPS class
