Hi Folks.
This Sunday October 10, 1999 I tested here on my Windows 2000 Professional IDE
the new version of one of most famous programmers' editor currently available
for 32 bits. I'm talking about TextPad 4.0. I tested it enhanced by WindowBlinds
1.0 and it runs simply fantastic. Are you a modern programmer really engaged
with the new millennium? I sincerely recommend the three for you: Windows 2000
Professional, WindowBlinds and TextPad 4.0.

In the photo below you can see TextPad 4.0 with all toolbars displayed. Note that you can customize dozens of applications related with your IDE and put all in a toolbar. TextPad 4.0 is extreme fastly and smooth and runs realy fine on Windows 2000 Professional. If you are a web developer, a Java or C++ programmer TextPad is an excellent tool for you!

In this third photo below you can see TextPad 4.0 running in full screen mode on Windows 2000 Professional graphical interface. All other applications do you need for your work are also available at Alt+Tab keys by default or by another key that you choose, because TextPad 4.0 have the ability to customize dozens of keys for call apps.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
o IBM Compatible PC.
o MS Windows 95, NT 3.51, or later versions of
Windows.
o COMCTL32.DLL 4.70 or later (can be downloaded
from
ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/softlib/mslfiles/40comupd.exe).
o 3MB free disk space.
Please note that Windows 3.1 with Win32s is not supported.
INSTALLATION
To install TextPad from a file downloaded from the Internet,
run the self-extracting executable file using Explorer or File Manager, and
follow the on-screen instructions.
To install TextPad, from diskettes,
run SETUP.EXE from the diskette labelled "TextPad 4.0 Setup Disk 1",
and follow the on-screen instructions.
See "Installing TextPad", in the on-line help,
for more information.
UPGRADING FROM TEXTPAD 3.X:
File names in TextPad 4.0 are associated with document
classes, using wild cards, and each class can have different properties, such as
tab stops, font and syntax highlighting. The way such properties are
defined and saved has been completely redesigned, so no personal preferences
are automatically transferred from TextPad 3.x.
It is safe to install TextPad 4.0 in the same folder
as earlier releases, but if you subsequently uninstall the earlier release, macros
and clip libraries will be deleted from the SAMPLES subfolder, if they
have the same name. For this reason, we recommend installing TextPad
4.0 in a different folder, then uninstalling TextPad 3.x after you have
manually transferred your personal preferences, macros and clip libraries.
