Hi All.
If you are fanatic by Registry Crawler
and use it to solve problems in Windows NT Registry, desist. You must expect
by a new version for Windows 2000 Professional (aka Windows NT 5.0). Registry
Crawler runs fine on NT4 SP5 and install fine on Windows 2000 but....simply
not runs perfectly as you can see in the photo above (version 1.21). This Monday
August 16 I tried use it on Win 2000 for the last time. I downloaded the latest
version, 2.0, and also don't runs correctly (photo below).

What is Registry Crawler
Registry Crawler,
product of 4Developers,
enables power users and developers to quickly
find
and configure Registry settings. A powerful search engine allows you
to find Registry information based on a search criteria. Results are
displayed
in a list allowing you to access any key found with a single
mouse click.
Registry Crawler has built in support for "bookmarks".
You
can bookmark any key in the Registry and then access it directly
from the
system tray. This powerful feature allows you to create a
set
of Registry keys that you frequently access eliminating the need
to manually
open REGEDIT. Users that access the Registry on a daily
basis will
find Registry Crawler to be a great time saver.

copying and pasting of Registry information
What's new in version 1.1 & 1.2
The success of Registry Crawler
version 1.0 and the excellent feedback we have received from end users and the
press has proven the superiority and uniqueness of our product.
To further
improve Registry Crawler we released version 1.1 which fixes some minor bugs
reported by our 1.0 users.
The following is a list of the fixes in 1.1:
1. The tray pop-up menu was
fixed so that it closes when you click
outside the menu.
2. The default column width
for the "Search results" was made wider.
This
helps you view the complete Registry key without needing
to
resize the column. You can still resize it as before.
3. The "Options"
dialog was changed. The "Registry Editor" title
field was removed as it is not required anymore.

The success of Registry Crawler version 1.0 and the excellent feedback we have received from end users and the press has proven the superiority and uniqueness of our product. To further improve Registry Crawler we released version 2.0 (following 1.1 & 1.2) which addresses issues brought to us by our 1.x users.
The following is a list of the 2.0 changes:
1. Registry Crawler is now resizable allowing the user to easily view long keys. The widow size is persistent between runs.
2. An 'Export to text' button was added to allow you to view the search results in text format (as well as HTML).
3. The floating desktop button was removed.
4. A toolbar and menu were added for quick access.
