and Windows 2000 Advanced Server to manufacturing. This means that hundreds

SAVING SEARCHES
Searches performed by the Windows NT Find utility can be saved and reused later.
Select the File menu and choose Save Search to create a desktop icon. All you
have to do is double-click the icon the next time you need to perform the same
search.

STOPPING USERS FROM TAMPERING WITH WINDOWS NT EXPLORER VIEW OPTIONS
Starting with Service Pack 4, you can remove the Options menu from the View
menu, preventing users from altering your settings for hidden files and other
options. Use Regedt32 to navigate to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
On the Edit menu, Add Value name NoOptions as a type REG_DWORD. Set the data
value to 1 to remove the Options menu from the View menu. The user must restart
for this setting to take effect.
