Windows 2000 Beta 3 Includes Fast Access To Built-In Manual Version Of Diskeeper Defragmenter

from the Executive Software Team

As you might have heard, Windows 2000 includes a manual version of diskeeper as its built-in defragmenter. With Beta 3, which is shipping this week, this version of Diskeeper is now easily accessible from the Start Button; a user can now simply click on Start, Programs, System Tools, and Disk Defragmenter.

Despite rumors to the contrary, Windows NT 5.0, now known as Windows 2000, is the first version of the OS to include a built-in disk defragmenter. The built-in version of Diskeeper supports all file system improvements in indows 2000 including the new FAT 32 system, 64-bit computing, and defragmentation of encrypted files.

Note that this version of Diskeeper is a scaled-down utility that defragments one disk at a time. The full-featured Diskeeper upgrade provides central controls for network-wide defragmentation, automatic "Set It and Forget It"(r) scheduling, selectable priority settings, consolidation of the paging file, and defragmentation of multiple disks concurrently.

Put the full version of Diskeeper to work on ALL your Windows NT systems! Contact your favorite reseller, or order direct.
