Hi All.
I just tested another fine release of Inkline Global, Inc., ASP member. I'm talking about Visual Calendar Planner version 5.0, a nice product developed for Windows 3.1/95/98 environment. But if you are Windows NT user like me you also can runs this very good soft, as you can see in the photos here, made on my Windows NT Server 4.0 Service Pack 6. I rated Visual Calendar Planner version 5.0 5 Butterflies:
 

 Visual Calendar Planner is an easy to use application. If you know how to
use a word processor, you already know how to use Visual Calendar
Planner. You can enter text the way you do in a text editor, without worrying
about relearning the program. You customize your days with colors, bold
headings, Italicize the characters, underline important events, and even
strike-through the tasks you have done. You can change the size you
desire, or put in various effects of fonts. You can also combine all these
effects like this example.

Visual Calendar Planner complies to common user interface, so you do not
have to relearn all the keystrokes in order to use the application.

Running Visual Calendar Planner v5.0

There are various ways to start up Visual Calendar Planner.
The recommended method is:
Click on start on the task bar, go to programs,
Visual Calendar Planner folder and finally click onto Visual Calendar Planner icon.

Alternatively, you may locate the 3dVCP directory (default is
c:\Program Files\3dVCP) double click with the left mouse button onto
3dVCP.exe.

The program should now be running.

Uninstallation

To Uninstall Visual Calendar Planner:

Click on start on the task bar, go to programs,
Visual Calendar Planner folder and click on uninstall Visual Calendar Planner.

It will uninstall all files associated with the program. It is advised that all
shared files NOT to be removed as it may cause other programs not to function.

Installation

If during installation, you do not have a file called VBRUN300.DLL
in your \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory, you will need to download this file yourself.
This file is common to many windows applications, depending on where you
downloaded this package from, it may not be included.

If you don't have VBRUN300.DLL, you can get a copy from the following sites:

1. CompuServe: GO WINSHARE forum, lib #10, filename-VBRUN3.ZIP
2. Internet: ftp.cica.indiana.edu, pub/pc/win3/util, filename-VBRUN300.EXE
   or http://oak.oakland.edu/simtel.net/win3/dll.html
3. BBS: Most major Bulletin Board Services (BBS) in your town or city do
   carry the file VBRUN300.ZIP or VBRUN3.ZIP or VBRUN300.EXE, search around
   for a while. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Known Problems or Frequently Encountered Problems

1. If you encounter any problem installing Visual Calendar Planner,
for example, some messages telling you "CTL3DV2.DLL is in use" or "xxxx.VBX
is in use", exit the installation process and restart Microsoft Windows.
This will give you a clean bootup with no conflict with other files
currently being used.

2. THREED.VBX causes conflicts with different versions. For various reasons,
I did not copy THREED.VBX to \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory. If you come across
complains from THREED.VBX, take the following measures:

a. Rename the file THREED.VBX to THREED.OLD in your C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM
   directory
b. Copy the file THREED.VBX which resides in \3DVCP (or the directory where
   Visual Calendar Planner resides) to C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory
c. Restart windows and the problem should go away

3. Sometimes the calendar will look wierd with some shadows of white and
gray. The problem is related to (3) again. Please follow the instructions
mentioned above.

4. If the program complains that "MSAJT112.DLL is missing" or "MSAJT200.DLL
is missing", please make sure in your C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory the
date of the following files:

MSAJT110.DLL    Size: 710,752 bytes    Date: May-20-93
MSAES110.DLL    Size: 33,280  bytes    Date: Apr-28-93
VBDB300.DLL     Size: 95,200  bytes    Date: Apr-28-93

If any of the files in your C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory does not match
the above-mentioned date or size, please copy ALL the above-mentioned
files to your C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory irregardless of the presence
of a newer date or version's file.
