EL MONTE, California - SecureSys Corporation (ASP
member) has released SecureZIP, a Windows 98/NT program that provides security features
and encryption for ZIP files. SecureZIP contains public-key/secret-key encryption functions
to protect your files agains unauthorized access and to send secret files to other
securely. The U.S.-only version uses a 168-bit Triple DES and 1024-bit public-key
encryption and will only be shipped to adresses within the U.S. and Canada. The
exportable version currently does not contain any encryption functions.
SecureZIP is fully compatible with SafenSigned -a popular digital signature utility
released earlier by SecureSys. By integrating SafenSigned digital signature functions
into a general ZIP utility that everyone needs, SecureSys hopes to make its SafenSigned
Signature even more popular.
