BMT Micro and Semware are proud to offer special pricing on The SemWare Editor version 4.0 for OS/2. The SemWare Editor was formerly known as QEdit for OS/2.

I'm particularly excited about this - I swear by The SemWare Editor - I use it to do all my work, including these announcements and work with huge text files (it'll read and edit up to a 32 meg file!).

With this offer you will receive:

1 licensed copy of the SemWare Editor for OS/2

 Comprehensive 180 page manual

FREE - 1 licensed copy of the Semware Editor for DOS

BONUS - 1 license for our LOOK/2 program, the ultimate text mode file viewer/directory management utility which is an ideal companion program. LOOK/2 is normally $30.

You receive all this for only $69.00, which I believe is the lowest price available anywhere for the Semware Editor plus LOOK/2 is included free.

This pricing was worked out directly with SemWare in order to promote their OS/2 product.

A fully functional demo of TSE for OS/2 is available at

Here's a brief description from the manual:

The SemWare Editor, formerly called QEdit, is a full screen text mode editor for the IBM PC and compatible computers. TSE is intended for us by those who want a fine-tuned, versatile editor that is inexpensive and operates
efficiently.

TSE is a text editor as opposed to a word processor. This means that most of its features are geared towards creating and maintaining ASCII text files (ideal for program source code). However, it can also be used like a word
processor to write documents or letters since it includes many word-processing capabilities.

The OS/2 version works with extended attributes and can edit files up to 32 MEGABYTES in size.

Features include:

 Fast Operation, especially
- loading a file
- displaying and updating
- moving through the editing window
- searching for text
- saving a file back to disk

 Ease of Use
- Optional pull-down menus
- Customizable help screen
- complete execution from a single file (q.exe is all you
need!)
- Pop-up file directory and picker
