- Optional list notes in window list
- More flexible titlebar display
- Floating notes!

Description provided by author

PmNotes for OS/2 is your ultimate replacement for those yellow sticky notes that won't stick to the edges of your monitor. It is a simple and easy to use program without the overhead of a lot of gadgets you will probably never need
anyway. What PmNotes does offer, is extra functionality directly related to the notes on your desktop.

Changes in this version of PmNotes:

* Added option to export contents of one or more notes to a
textfile.

* Fixed the OS/2 shutdown probem that was in version 1.31.

* PmNotes can now be closed using Alt-F4 key if either the
main window or one of the notes is the active window.

Installation

Install the program by unzipping the archive to an empty directory.
Run INSTALL.CMD, it will create a PmNotes folder on your desktop with the PmNotes program object and the documentation. It is recommended that you place a shadow of the PmNotes program object in your Startup Folder to start PmNotes everytime OS/2 is booted. The install script will optionaly do this for you.

The PMN_RES.DLL file needs to be in the same directory as PMNOTES.EXE.
Also make sure the PMN_HOOK.DLL file is in the same directory as the PmNotes executable if you want to use hotkey support.

The SECURIT2.DLL file needs to be in a directory that's on your LIBPATH statement in CONFIG.SYS. If you have "." in your LIBPATH, you can leave it safely in the PmNotes directory.
This DLL is part of PmNotes' protection and is needed to run PmNotes.

Updating

Updating a previous PmNotes version is very simple. Just unpack the archive over the old files in your PmNotes directory and you should be up and running.
You don't need to run the install script again.

If you decide to install into a new directory and keep the old version, note that if you run the install script, an existing PmNotes folder and the objects in it will be replaced to point to the new directory.

Uninstalling

PmNotes doesn't abuse your OS/2 system ini files in anyway, so you can safely drag the PmNotes folder to the shredder and delete the directory where you installed PmNotes' files to uninstall.
