After the Stardock/IBM announcement regarding an "Aurora"
based
client, Serenity Systems remains interested in a
similar project. But Serenity's
client requirements are a significant
departure from Stardock's.
On Sunday (10/17) morning,8AM, at Warpstock, Kim Cheung will discuss
the Serenity vision of an new OS/2 Super Client. There is no doubt that an
Aurora based client is capable of playing multiple significant roles
and the leading client platform in the industry... everything from a
general business desktop to the "PC farm" doing financial analysis
or
"search engine" tasks on the Ineternet.
