OFFICIAL TALLY: 1,162 Currently Available,
Native OS/2 Applications!
The OS/2 Alternative OS/2 Applications and their
Windows Counterparts updated last friday January 15, 1999 reports: Official Tally: 1,162 currently available, native OS/2
applications on her list. This HTML page
is made by Don K. Eitner. The OS/2 Alternative was awarded 3 A ratings including
an A+ by SCOUG (Southern California OS/2 User Group) in June, 1998.
Since early 1997 Don K. Eitner have been maintaining thislist
of current OS/2 applications. In that time it has seen a lot of changes, but none
more drastic than the addition of more than 1,000 applications! This huge increase
in size has led to a slow load for many of her visitors. Don plans to remedy this
in the future, but to do so he need to be able to host the page on her own system
with a high-speed internet link and a database back-end.
