Some of the currently available components of Object Desktop are:
Control Center - a virtual desktop/tool bar program. It's probably thebest virtual desktop program avialable on Windows.
Object System Manager - allows you to control your system better, hide the start bar and more.
Tab LaunchPad - once you've hidden that start bar, you can use this to launch your apps. This is an extremely useful program.
Object Archives - Still in alpha level, this basically combines the best parts of WinZip and Zip Magic together. It's more seamless than WinZip but doesn't get so deep into the OS that dealing with zip files as "files" is a pain.
WindowBlinds - The ultimate look and feel changer. It can totally change the way Windows looks. Association Wizard - This is still in pretty rough shape but it lets you give file formats multiple associations. So tired of Photoshop being your only choice forloading Jpegs? Assocation Wizard will let you right click on that JPGfile and choose multiple programs easily.
Stardock.Net Client - Similar to IRC but super easy to get going. Anyone who's ever wanted to introduce friends and family to chatting on the Internet will want this. No server configuration, just press a button and you're on. Also works with Stardock's Entrepreneur strategy game (i.e. you can launch games from it).
Object Sweeper - cleans out your Start Menu of dead links.
Object Edit - Notepad is too wimpy, WordPad is too bloated, Object Edit is more powerful than both yet loads about as fast as Notepad. It can parse many types of different text formats such as C++, HTML, and more!Plus: All new updates and new components created for oneyear after you order. Instead of paying hundreds of dollars for utilities that often cause as many problems as they solve,
Object Desktop for Windows is only $49.95 for the first year and $19.95 per year afterwards. At the end of the year, if you aren't happy with Object Desktop, you can cancel your subscription and keep the components you have. NOTE: The subscription date will not begin until after Object Desktop Network becomes generally available. By ordering now, you will get the use of the Object Desktop Network until it goes GA and then for a full year after that!
