 Hi All.
NetSonic quietly has released a beta version Pro 3.0 for Windows NT/2000 environment and I' m in the beta testers program. I tested this beta on my Server Windows NT4 SP6 last Friday and crashed immediately because an incompatibility between NetSonic and the native NT task bar. Fortunately for me crashes with betas are not problem because my special beta-test machine is mirrored, backuped and safeguarded by Resplendent Registrar and Fix-It 2000. This Sunday July 16 I booted on my Windows 2000 Professional (workstation) and installed NetSonic Beta Pro without problems. In the screenshot below you can see his options for acceleration:

Running NetSonic Pro

NetSonic Pro and Gator run automatically when you start Windows. You can tell they are running by the Jet and Gator icons on your Windows Taskbar. 

Right Mouse-click on the Jet Icon to open the NetSonic Pro menu, or double-click the Jet Icon to open the NetSonic Pro Options window.  Similarly, you can Mouse-click on the Gator icon to open the Gator settings windows.

Uninstalling NetSonic Pro

Should you need to Uninstall NetSonic Pro, DO NOT use 3rd party uninstallers (such as QuarterDeck's CleanSweep^TM or CyberMedia's Uninstaller^TM) as they will not properly remove NetSonic Pro from your system. 

Use the Uninstall option in the NetSonic Pro Program group, or use the Add/Remove programs application in the Windows Control Panel.

The Gator form-acceleration component may be used separately from the NetSonic Pro Internet Accelerator and may be uninstalled separately via the Add/Remove programs application in the Windows Control Panel.

Running Gator

Gator automatically fills out forms and remembers your login names and passwords. When you come across a registration or order form on the web, Gator will pop up and offer to fill in the form for you with one or just a few clicks. No more typing! Ever!

Using Gator

In most cases, Gator will pop up automatically to help you.

• If you want to fill in your personal information now, simply click on the Gator icon in your system tray (next to the clock on your computer's menu bar) and use the tabs.
• You do not need to enter your user names and passwords now. Gator will surface to remember the passwords the next time you go to a password-protected site.
• If you come to a form and Gator does not pop up to help you in automatic mode, you can click on the Gator icon in the system tray to get help in the manual mode.
• All your personal information is stored on your hard drive and is never submitted until you hit the "submit" button -- you remain in complete control of all your personal information.
• Gator comes with free coupons. To see the coupons, summon Gator by clicking on the Gator icon in the system tray, then click on "Deals."

To check the full version number of your NetSonic Pro, open the NetSonic Pro Options & click the About Tab. NetSonic Pro version consists of three numbers.
