The Maximum: 5 Butterflies

NetCaptor running on Win XP Pro - Note the special tabs at left upper corner

By Macarlo

Hi All... Tired of the bad performance of Microsoft Internet Explore or Netscape? Now the solution for this problem, detected by professionals on the Net, is very simple and results in a fantastic adventure through the Web: NetCaptor. This one is simply the most admirable browser that I saw in my life. NetCaptor is fine piece of software developed by Adam Stiles (Stilesoft, Inc), member of Association of Shareware Professionals (ASP).

Why NetCaptor? NetCaptor is the most powerful web browser on the planet! Other browsers only show one page at a time or squish them together in an overlapping mess. NetCaptor gives each web site its own tab.

How NetCaptor does this authentic miracle of transforms the heavy and stupid Microsoft Internet Explorer in an intelligent and flier magnificent browser? NetCaptor is a little file (ncsetup.exe, 835K) and when you installs it in few seconds your MS IE newest release is metamorphosed in a super-modern and ultra-efficient browser for all purposes on the Net. If you are a web professional, if you are a simple user, in both cases you will love this one. I evaluated NetCaptor here on my Web IDE (Windows XP Professional + Internet Explorer/Netscape/Opera (all the most recent releases) and immediately I turned NetCaptor my default browser for all tasks I have everyday.

With a simple click on <Whois Domain Info> NetCaptor displays official information about the web page visited

When you are using NetCaptor you can load entire sites or various sites at the same time and all of them appears on a bar, at the fly. When you needs see one page you simply click it on the bar an that is all. Need official information about the real owner of this page? Simply click a option that exists in the right upper corner of NetCaptor and this incredible browser shows the information from my merchant partner Network Solutions (VeriSign) database!!.

My registered version of NetCaptor, now my default browser here!!

NetCaptor installs quickly and easy on Windows XP Professional, without any problem, sucking all bookmarks lists you have in the browser that you was using. At the left upper corner NetCaptor can displays intelligent tabs and all commands and functions started by click on icons or key tabs are dramatically improved. I suggest that you check for yourself  my evaluation, downloading NetCaptor now and installing it on your machine:

NETCAPTOR 7.0 FINAL RELEASE NOTES
MAY 6, 2002

WHAT'S NEW IN 7.0?

* Full XP theme support NetCaptor UI, including icons, toolbars,
  loading animation, and logos.
* Tabs now display site-specific FavIcons (optional).
* CaptorBar now supports "auto-hide" mode. The tabs now sit
sideways and can dock to either side of the screen. In auto-hide
mode the CaptorBar will slide out when the cursor is over it.
* Repositioned close, close all buttons for better usability
* Information button address bar lets you lookup Whois, Related
Links, Backward links, cached pages, Anonymizer, etc. about the
current page. Fully customizable. This is a nice one!
* PopupCaptor will now flash an icon in the status bar when tab
  popups are closed
* Added option to PopupCaptor to automatically close tab popups
when they are launched when a tab closes (great for not getting
trapped at sites that don't want you to leave).
* Middle mouse click on links open in new window.
* Added option to enable/disable NetCaptor user-agent setting
* Added an automation interface for use in getting active tab
url and title and in opening new tabs from URLs, CaptorGroups,
  and links.

folders when dragging items between folders.
* With FavIcon support turned on, tabs which are finished but not
yet viewed now display the tabs FavIcon with the regular green
checkbox in the bottom left corner.
* Changed orientation CaptorBar tabs. Now, when in autohide mode,
you click on a tab to slide the CaptorBar out, while activating
the selected tab. Much cleaner and easier to use!

toolbar positions from the "Lock Toolbars" menu item.
* CTRL + D now brings up "Add to Favorites" dialog
* CTRL + SHIFT + D now toggles the data-entry mode setting

* Added a button that sorts the list view used by QuickSearch,
Aliases, Address Tools, Translators, Search Engines, Search Bar.
* Added additional control character for use with Url Blocking
and PopupCaptor. Generally, both assume a trailing *, so they
can't be used to match against the "end" of a string. By
appending a "$" character, they will match against strings
which end with the specified pattern. To block al GIF images,
  you would specify *.gif$.
* Tooltip hints now display drop-shadow in XP
* Added option to use flat browser borders (on by default). Turn
this option off to use the "fat" borders as found in IE.

  stores your option data
* Added horizontal scrollbar (when necessary) to Url Blocking
  and PopupCaptor lists
* Added "New Folder" to Favorites tab on CaptorBar
