If you cannot reach a particular site on the Internet you should run a NeoTrace
to the site before calling your ISP to complain. Most often you will discover that
your ISP's network is just fine, but the network your target site is on is actually
the one that is down or very slow.
Analyze your network connection and find failure points, determine if it's you ISP,
the target site or part of the internet backbone that is at fault. Simply drag a
link from your browser and drop it on NeoTrace; all the nodes between your computer
and the destination site are displayed in a straightforward, graphical format. If
you place your cursor over any node icon, the IP address and round-trip data appear,
along with the name and address of the domain's owner.

Automatic update checking. Periodic checks for updates and new releases. The
check is unobtrusive and fast.
Improved output format. Trace result output in text, printed and HTML form follows
a compact and concise format.
Revised support for .au. The Australian whois server result format changed after
the release of 1.1 causing the data returned to be incorrect. NeoTrace now displays
the correct information for .au domain results.
Status bar. The new status bar at the bottom of the window gives more feedback as
to what NeoTrace is doing. As it checks individual nodes and waits for results.
