Windows 2000 Professional Beta Tester

 The new release of this fine browser is out, we evaluated it on Windows 2000 Professional and reported a bug that affect only webmasters. Neoplanet uses the MS Internet Explorer engine but IE is not damaged or affected. Neoplanet improves the IE performance and you will run much more fast using it. Since the firsts releases we used Neoplanet on Windows NT environment without problems and the efficiency was significantly increased by this fine piece of software. But running on Windows 2000 environment (the a.k.a. operating system called Windows NT 5.0) Neoplanet encountered problems with some web editors. We reported the bug to the developers. In the photo below you can see the new Neoplanet running on our Windows 2000 workstation:

 THE BUG
If a preview in browser is requested on any web editor, for MS IE 5x or Netscape 4.7x, Neoplanet 5.2 is started at the same time by itself, the another requested browser freezes and finally a Dr. Watson notice is generated.

 This new version of Neoplanet installs by default the Annotate browser companion, a very nice improvement that you can see (the Install query screen) in the screenshot below:
