



Hi All.
Namo, the most important web editor for serious webmasters currently available
on the Net has been updated to version 3.06. If you are registered user like
me, you can download your patch (WE306EngShareUpdate.exe, 3.72MB) for free.
If you will download Namo by the first time you must download the shareware
file, above 9MB. For the first install simply click the exe and that is all.
For update you must close all programs wich are running on your machine before
enter the OK for the patch application. This new release of Namo Web Editor
incorporates several improvements. Namo, award winning five stars rated is the
best in show in the web authoring tools universe. I tested during two years
ALL web editors available in the world and chose Namo as my principal web editor.

Release Notes for Namo WebEditor 3.06
As we welcome the new millennium,
Namo WebEditor 3.06 has been released in response to your reports.
Users of earlier versions of
Namo WebEditor 3.x will be able to advantage of a number of
enhancements as they upgrade to version 3.06. In addition to resolving several
problems with earlier releases, Namo WebEditor 3.06 is fully compatible
with the multilanguage capabilities of Windows 2000. Namo WebEditor 3.06 has
been fully tested for compatibility with Windows 2000, and has been found stable
in that environment.
Registered users of Namo WebEditor
3.x can download the Namo WebEditor 3.06 upgrade from Namo Web site's download
page (http://www.namo.com/download/). Double-click the downloaded file to
install the upgrade.
After installing this upgrade,
you may wish to verify that your copy of Namo WebEditor has been successfully
upgraded to version 3.06 by performing the following steps:
- Launch Namo WebEditor.
- From the Help menu, select About
Namo WebEditor
- Note the version number
in the title bar of the resulting window.

- New Site Wizard Templates
- Added four new templates
(site types): Association, Resume, School, and Small Shopping Mall.
PLEASE NOTE that the membership form used
in the Small Shopping Mall template is just a form. It won't do anything
unless you have server software that will take the information that
visitors enter in the form and do something with it. Unless you have
your own Web server or your ISP allows you to install database software
on their server, we recommend you don't include this form in your Web
site.
- Theme Editor Now Included
- Namo WebEditor 3.05
includes a Theme Editor that you can use to create additional templates
for the Site Wizard. Refer to the Theme Editor guide for instructions and more information.
- Additional Spelling
Dictionaries
- Namo WebEditor 3.05
now ships with the following spelling dictionaries: English(US), English(UK),
French, German, Spanish, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Italian, Norwegian,
Swedish, Portuguese, and Portuguese(Brazil).
- You can select two
dictionaries to use simultaneously. The selection is made in the Preferences
dialog window.

- Added a scroll bar to the equation editor in Visual edit mode.

- Added a contextual
menu command to delete a file in the Link Check result window whose

- Adjusted the behavior
of the timeline editor so that you now have to drag the small circle
representing a key frame in order to move the key frame.
- A script error no longer
occurs if you selected '_blank' as the target frame in certain script
types using the Script Wizard.
- Removed the "after-image"
that appeared when inserting a layer into the timeline using drag &
drop.
- Unexpected characters
are no longer created when reading the background image of a layer.

a selected table became deselected if you tried to drag the table to

- Fixed the problem where a color could be improperly selected after
clicking another space or double-clicking.
- WebEditor no longer crashes when more than 8 characters are entered
in the HTML hex field.

equations and the zoom tool where only the outline of an equation, not
its contents, would be magnified when you magnified the edit window.
- In style sheets, WebEditor
now properly handles font names containing spaces. According to the
CSS standard, when a font name contains spaces it would be surrounded
by quotation marks; WebEditor now complies with the standard.
- Ctrl+clicking on a
link in the Edit window now correctly causes WebEditor to follow the
link.
- Clip Art Fixes
- Fixed the problem where some keys did not work in the Clip Art dialog.
- Wheel mouse support now works in the Clip Art dialog box.
- WebEditor now correctly
opens files with names exceeding 255 characters.
- Fixed the problem where
contents were not displayed in HTML view when you inserted more than
4096 characters into a drop-down menu form field.
