mSQL 2.0.10 build #1 for OS/2 released!
---------------------------------------

As Hughes goes on releasing new versions of mSQL every month, Yuri Dario
keeps the OS/2 port of mSQL in sync. Now it seems the build number of
the OS/2 version can never again become greater than one. ;-)

mSQL 2.0.10 released!
---------------------

Hughes Technologies released yet another big fix version of mSQL 2.0,
and all mSQL-2 users are advised to upgrade to mSQL 2.0.10. Keep up the
good work, Bambi et al!

How to run mSQL as an NT Service
--------------------------------

Philippe.Fortemps shared with the CygWin32 mailing list a "how-to" about
running mSQL (Joshua port) as a Windows NT Service. The hack is not
perfect, but well usefull for mSQL users, and is reproduced here with
permission from the author.

CAMP 1.2b1 Released
-------------------

CAMP is a bundle that contains the Apache Web Server, PHP3 compiled as a
module, the mSQL database (Joshua port) and clients for mySQL and
PostgreSQL, providing a complete internet or intranet development
plataform for Win32 using only Open Source software. The latest release
has also SSL, FastCGI and iODBC (not MS ODBC!) compiled in.

Tcl interface for mSQL
----------------------

Tcl developer's on Unix and Windows will be pleased to know that Hakan
Soderstrom maintains a Tcl interface for mSQL.

There are actually two versions of the interface: one is a C extension,
and the other is written using only Tcl and should work with any
plataform that has a Tcl interpreter (any OS/2 out there to tell me if
it works?)

The package also comes with a GUI client for mSQL using the Tk widgets.

mSQL and PHP on Win95
---------------------

Some people asked about the PHP with PWS tutorial. Here's a link to the
(somewhat old) article: http://phpmag.eyekon.com/win95-pws.html.

Sorry for the lack of updates...
--------------------------------

May was a quiet month for the mSQL community until this weekend... and about the same time I moved to a new home, so I wasn't able to use the "free time" to update the Windows and OS/2 Status sections of this site, both of which are quite outdated. But the news pages are  mantained and the downloads secion allways points to the latest releases available, so this site can preserve a minimum usefullness.
