According to International Data Corp., Microsoft licensed 4.14 million seats of Exchange Server worldwide in the second quarter of 1999, compared with 3.89 million for Lotus Notes. In the first quarter of 1999, 3.95 million seats of Exchange Server were sold worldwide, for a total of 8.1 million seats sold in the first half of 1999, versus 7.42 million sold for Lotus Notes.

PROXY SERVER PROBLEMS?
Many first-time proxy server users find that they have trouble performing various types of Internet communications across the proxy server. This type of problem is usually caused by accidentally restricting protocols within the Winsock proxy. To correct the problem, go to the Permissions tab on the Winsock Proxy Properties sheet and allow unlimited access to all protocols for the users experiencing the problem.
