The
fact is that the north american MOONLIGHT LASER Enterprises, Inc. is finishing
a project using very powerful laser cannons to write messages on the moon surface,
as if a screen.
The laser cannons emit
blue, red and green lights, which makes
possible to emit millions of colors or even animated
images. For the
first time the moon will be used for this purpose,
on december 8th.
This is the MOONLIGHT LASER founder's birthday date,
and besides, it
will be new moon, ideal for this coming up test.
MOONLIGHT LASER is based in Atlanta, and it will execute
the test at
12:00 a.m. east time, corresponding to 3:00 a.m. in
Brazil. The chosen
message is "GOOD NIGHT EARTH". After
that, other non revealed
messages will be written on the moon.
In the future, MOONLIGHT intends to use this resource
to transmit
advertisements. Some trademarks like Coca Cola, IBM
and others are
interested on it. Although the MOONLIGHT avoids
to talk about values,
a minute of exibition is estimated around US$ 5,000,000.
