Durham, N.C.June 23, 1999 Red Hat®, Inc., a leading developer and provider of open source operating system solutions, today announced the availability of on-site professional services the industry's first on-site, full-array service and support for Linux-based operating systems. Red Hat's on-site services will be provided by more than 350 Linux-based operating system experts located at 20 offices throughout the United States.
The addition of on-site services adds another critical element to Red Hat's Professional Service and Support Offerings. Red Hat provides services ranging from email and telephone support to certification programs to on-site consultation.
