jPadHD is a very simple personal database to save small text files and notes. It is written in the Java language to make it multi-platform and has built in functions for creating new folders and notes, searching notes, importing and exporting text files, splitting large text files to fit in the database, and simple
printing.

jPadHD can help organize notes and text data and make it easier to
find your information when you need it!

And best of all you can run it on many Java platforms!

Already tested on OS/2 Warp 4.0 (JRE 1.1.4), Windows NT 4.0 (JRE 1.1.6) , and Windows 95 (JRE 1.1.6).

Requires Java runtime environment 1.1.1 or higher and it is greatly suggested that use Java ver. 1.1.6 for best performance.

Requirements for jPadHD

jPadHD requires you to have a Java, ver. 1.1.1 or better runtime environment on whatever platform you are using. If all the platforms you are using support long file names then you can use them without problems. However, if
one or more of the platforms do NOT use long file names it is recommended that you do not use them at all. Otherwise you may NOT be able to see all your folders or notes on all the platforms.

While jPadHD should work on any 1.1.1 version of the Java runtime environment IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you use ver. 1.1.6 or later for best results and performance.

It has been specifically tested on Windows 95 (JRE 1.1.6),
Windows NT 4.0 (JRE 1.1.6), and OS/2 Warp 4.0 (JRE 1.1.4).

Shareware notice

This program is shareware and is not free. It is expected that after 30 days of trial use you either erase the software and stop using it or you register it.

How to use

This is just a sample note.

New Notes can be created while in "Note mode" by selecting the NEW button on the toolbar.

New Folders can be created by selecting the same NEW button
while you are in "Folder mode".

Whenever you are in "Folder mode" and you select a folder then jPadHD will open that folder and list the Notes in that folder. You will then be in "Note mode". When it first goes into Note mode it will automatically select and open the first note (if there are any notes in the folder).

jPadHD should be downloaded in :
