 I All! Great news! Iomega Corporation finally releases a decent pack of drivers for various operating systems including Windows 2000. I'm talking about IomegaWare version 2.5, a fine pack sized only 4.7Mb vs. the buggy giant pack IomegaWare 2.21 (15.2MB) that was crashed my Windows 2000 Professional. With the new release you can use Iomega drives in Windows 2000 without problems. I tested successfully this new bundle this Friday July 21, 2000, in order to evaluate his performance in comparison with the older pack. I'm afraid with some drivers installation and before all installs I backuped my Registry with Replendent Registrar. If I encountered any problem I simply reboot, pressed F8, enter in Safe Mode with Command Line (console), jump Program Files\Resplendent Reghistrar and command rr /restore...and that is all!!! Fortunately at this time I encountered not problems and any restore for the Registry was needed. The installation is secure and easy, as you can see in the photo below:
