and Denmark's PBS Launch New Internet Payment
Offerings, Certified by Visa and Enabled for SET.
IBM and PBS (Danish Payment Systems) will
provide
certificate processing and payment gateway
facilities for European financial institutions
that want to implement the SET (Secure Electronic
Transaction) protocol for Internet credit-card
payments. Visa International has certified PBS as
a trusted third-party certificate processor. This
certification confirms to Visa members that the
IBM/PBS offering provides the level of certificate
security required by Visa.
