Andreas Wulf Software, would like to announce the release
of his Web authoring software, HTML Guard 2.0 for Windows 95/98/NT/2000.

 Hello, webmasters on Windows 32 platform. Are you scared with code suckers? Say good bye to old bad times! HTML Guard has arrived. I tested this fine release on my Windows 2000 Professional  Web IDE and it is running just fine here. This soft is one of the most efficient, reliable and cool that I saw in the last years for all professional people that works on the Net with HTML code.

I downloaded the file hgsetup.exe (only 972K) from the developers web site and installed the soft in few seconds. To do it, simply click the exe, chose a directory (the default for his Install is c:\Program Files\HTML Guard). This tool have a fine, artistic and modern design and his use is very simple and intuitive on this nice interface. Chose the files (or entire folders/directories) to protect, command the action and that is all! Note that the files encrypted cannot be updated. To release a new version for these files you must revert it using his backup (automatically generated).

I'm using HTML Guard 2.0 here in order to protect several web sites under my administration from code suckers attack and now this people can't use and modifies copyrighted web pages.

HTML Guard consumes insignificant CPU (see photo above) and RAM (note that the MEM usage in the Task Manager is for all applications  - above 30 - started at the same time on my Web IDE during this test with HTML Guard 2.0) and runs fantastic on Windows 2000. I recommend this soft enthusiastically and rated it with the maximum available here for an application: Five Butterflies.

A common problem with HTML pages is the fact that the  source code is freely visible to all. Because of this they can be copied and modified without restriction. Furthermore, using a
browser or suitable editor, it's a breeze to duplicate text and images

For this reason, web site napping is common place, and HTML pages that have been constructed using large amounts of your time and creativity are simply copied and published under a different name.

If you want to avoid or limit unscrupulous people picking your brain, you should use "HTML Guard" to secure your pages against copying or modification by third parties.
