HotSpot Editor with HTML ImageMap Support v. 1.26 (HS126.ZIP, 41K). Written in
JAVA (requires: minimum JAVA v.1.14; Features: OS/2, Win95/NT or other OS's) as
an application and runs fine on OS/2 and Windows:
- Reads GIF and JPEG image formats.
- Create Polygon, Rectangle, Circle
HotSpot/Image Map areas.
- Load/Save image/window definitions
for later use.
- Write HTML file containing ImageMap
definition. A full page is written.
Product Information
This JAVA application is part of a complete suite of Java tools for creation of
pure JAVA multimedia applications and adventure games.
This HotSpot Editor is the first JAVA application written for the suite.
The editor was originally written for JAVA 1.02 and with AWT.
The first public release was a port to JAVA 1.1, disabling the binary HotSpot generator
and inserted a primitive HTML ImageMap generator. Nothing fancy!
The HotSpot Editor will in future versions require a minimum of JAVA 1.16 and Swing
1.01 and will be based on the common JAVA classes written for the suite.
Known Bugs

GIF images with a transparent color is not repainted properly when creating
HotSpot
areas.

Due to FAT filesystem limitations it's not possible work with images from
the HotSpot
Editor on FAT drives when running OS/2. This is not really a bug...!
