Future Wawe text editor for programmers has been updated to version 2.25. Future Wave Editor (FWE) is a text editor for OS/2 Warp 3.0 and later. FWE enables you to work on the development of a professional program as well as edit a simple text file such as Config.Sys. It is a highly-functional text editor which allows you to write macros in the REXX language. Try FWE if you are not happy with the operational efficiency and simplicity of other OS/2 text editors. In the photo below you can see it being installed on @Macarlo's Warp 4 FP6 Client.

FWE has the following features:
- The file size is unlimited. (Up to 10,000,000
lines can be edited.)
- You can edit 12 files at the same time.
- You can read / write files with the EUC and the JIS codes.
- Unlimited UNDO and REDO.
- grep. (a function to search for strings in multiple files)
- Regular expressions can be used in Search, Replace, and grep.
- Powerfully customizable. (Environment, Key Assignment, Keyword
Setting)
- A function to activate external programs.
- Help features of APIs can be displayed with the Help of Toolkit,
etc.
- Powerful macros in the REXX language.
