OS/2 Programmer Carsten Müller has been released a freeware called Download Manager that is really useful and efficient. We tested it on our Warp 4.0 and we are using it for take control on all downloaded files. To download it jump Warphouse Software.

Download Manager is designed to make it easier
to know what files you've downloaded to your computer. You have now the chance
to store additional information to each of your downloaded files, for example
file description and file subject. So, by using Download Manager you will always
know what a file is being for. Download Manager makes your life a little bit
easier now, when you oftenly download software and files.
How does it work?
Start Download Manager and select your preferred directory (for example your \download\ directory). Open your directory using the ".." push button or File>Open Directory. Type in subjects, keywords and description for your file and push SAVE. That's all. The information is stored in the Extended Attributes (EAs) of the file. If a file already has such information in its EAs, this information will be shown, when you have selected the file in the files list.
