Hermann Mahr just updated his simple and very efficient colored directory for OS/2 Warp command line. No specials settings in Config.sys or another install process inserting keys in INI files are needed. You simply put ds.exe (for English language) or da.exe (for German language) in you root. Both .exe are inside the dircolor2.zip (104KB) that you can download from Hobbes. This colored replacement for the OS/2 dir command now take in consideration the number of rows of an OS/2 window It is freeware.

How Dircolor runs
When you type ds
ds.exe shows shows all files in different colors (without date and time) which are located in the actual drive or the actual directory.
If you type ds drive or ds directory (with path)
ds.exe shows shows all files in different colors (without date and time) which are located in the drive or the directory.
The command line argument -d
as the last command line argument has the effect that in both previous cases date and time of the last modification of files are shown. If a file was not modificated since its creation date and time of its creation are schown.
Directories are shown without date and time.
