Hi, Windows users...
I'm just running fine the new AOL 6.0 for Windows XP when dozens of users from all the World requested photos of the new 7.0 release on Windows XP. Quickly I sucked the update using the improved Internet connection of AOL 6.0 and installed here this fine release without problems. AOL 7.0 asked me about my preferences and installed the new version in a separate environment. Now I've two AOL icons on my Windows XP Professional Web IDE? one for version 6.0 and one for version 7.0. Yeah, 6.0 is fantastic but 7.0 simply incredible? extra-high speed for surfing and a lot of important improvements!! I encourage you to download it to evaluate it by yourself. I`m suspect because I`m  AOL merchant partner...Now I`m using this new 7.0 and it loads fine all Brazilian windows and banners needed for Itaú Bank.

I used this AOL7.0 here visiting hundreds of websites in all the world in few minutes and encountered not any problem. If you are seeking for the stat of art in a Internet enhanced connection join AOL and get happy for entire 2002!

• Updated Design: The Welcome Screen and AOL Channels have been updated with fresh, clean screens and streamlined layouts that are even easier to navigate. The new AOL 7.0 toolbar now includes an AOL Help button for fast access to AOL's online help, a Radio button for access to the new Radio@AOL product, and more readable navigation and search functions. All of AOL's popular destinations also have a brand new look - complemented by new features and local programming to make it easier and more convenient for members to find content and information that interests them.
  
  
• Easy Access to Local and City-Specific Information: From the Welcome Screen to the various AOL Channels, AOL 7.0 makes it easy for members to access local and city-specific programming. While online, AOL members can stay in touch with what's going on in their own local community and find the hometown information they want most - including news headlines, traffic and weather; entertainment listings and events; shopping information; restaurant guides; and local movie show times. With local coverage across the United States, AOL 7.0 gives members a customized online experience that's meaningful and relevant to their hometown and their daily lives.
  
  
• AOL High-Speed Broadband Programming and Services: With AOL 7.0's new design, members are just a click away from a wide-array of multimedia content that can best be enjoyed using a high-speed connection. The "multimedia tower" that was used to display broadband content in previous versions of the AOL service has been replaced with a dedicated "High-Speed AOL" area that seamlessly appears as part of the AOL Welcome Screen and across channels and sites.

AOL offers members a wide range of multimedia audio and video programming, including exclusive AOL member-only previews of TV shows, movies and music videos.

*New Radio@AOL and Enhanced AOL Media Player: AOL 7.0 includes the first online radio product integrated into the AOL service -- Radio@AOL. With Radio@AOL members can tune in to more than 75 channels in all music genres, as well as celebrity-programmed channels, holiday features, talk radio, news and more. The AOL Media Player has also been enhanced with support for CD playback in addition to nearly all major audio formats. Members can now enjoy listening to their own CDs within the convenient AOL environment. As part of its redesign, the AOL Media Player also offers volume control and the capability to load, play, and organize playlists.

*You've Got Pictures(sm) 2.0: The latest version of the You've Got Pictures service makes it even easier for members to access, manage, share and store digital pictures online. Members can now upload pictures from digital cameras and scanners and enjoy free, unlimited online photo storage space. A new, bundled pricing plan for both prints and online photos makes the You've Got Pictures service even more convenient.

• New E-mail Features: A new "Buddy Links" feature indicates whether recipients in an e-mail message are currently online, along with a one-click way for members to add new Screen Names to their Address Book and Buddy List feature, and also view a member's home page. A new "Notify AOL" button on the e-mail window makes it faster to report questionable messages, and an enhanced "auto-suggest" feature automatically presents a list of possible e-mail addresses and names drawn from the member's Address Book.

*New Instant Message & Buddy List® Features: Right from an instant message, members can expand an instant message exchange with one person into a Buddy Chat session with multiple friends, and also add Screen Names to their Address Book and Buddy List. There are more than 70 new Buddy Icons available, which are small graphical images that will appear on instant messages members send. Members can change Buddy Icons at any time to reflect different moods or events, and customizable preferences let them choose whether they want to receive and view icons from others. In AOL 7.0, these icons can also be viewed from the Buddy List, along with a "mobile" indicator icon to alert members when people they need to reach are online via a mobile device like the AOL Mobile Communicator or cellular telephone. The "Away" message feature is further enhanced with the ability to now see a friend or family member's Away message without having to first send an instant message.

*New My Calendar(sm) Features: Newly redesigned and enhanced with a number of new features, My Calendar makes it even faster and easier for members to keep up with birthdays, anniversaries and other important dates. Members can set automatic reminders to be sent via e-mail or to a wireless phone or pager. Changing the date of an appointment is simpler by just clicking and dragging the appointment to the new date.

*New "Community" Features: AOL 7.0 makes it easy for members to reach out around the world and meet others with similar interests, with more ways for friends and family members to stay close. AOL's People Connection channel has a streamlined look to make it easier for members to find topical chat rooms and message boards, along with a way for members to insert graphical "smilies" into chat text. Groups@AOL now offers the ability to create personalized groups about specific topics, which other AOL members with similar interests can browse and join.

*New Look for Shop@AOL: AOL's comprehensive online shopping service, has a new look and feel in AOL 7.0 to make it even easier for members to search for and purchase goods and services. The new design highlights AOL's 100% Satisfaction Shopping Guarantee and Quick Checkout "wallet" technology.

As with any software installation process, it is recommended that you exit all software applications, including shareware and freeware, during the installation of AOL.
